How can we show our gratitude to the people and to the Lord, there is a beautiful verse in the Bible about our Lord Jesus Christ when he was very young, " he was growing in the mercy of men and God"..His personality was such, People were merciful unto Him. And the mercy of God was all ways on His beloved son.
Do you find this mercy upon us and our family in the world of today? The world is so cruel, people are living in the history of Sodom and Gomorrah, they do not have the fear of God or man. Everybody is thinking that they can do any thing with their might, power and money. The prince of the world is making them to slumber in their pride and pomp.
The human values are forgotten, only treachery is "playing its role in the wilderness of life.
A few weeks back I saw a video on "Peace Child" Filmed in the jungles of southwest Pacific,among a tribe by name SAWI . In this tribe there are strange customs and strangest human values where Treachery is considered as the most skillful and beautiful Human value. The stunning event in the picture is when the missionaries tell these people about the story of Jesus Christ, and the disciples, and How Judas Iscariot betrayed Him for 30 silver coins, the tribe rejoiced and literally jumped with the joy saying that the real hero of the story was Judas because his human value is Treachery. they had a strange custom too, when any of the neighbouring tribes defeated them in the battle, they would give one of their infant child , as a PEACE CHILD to them and the other party take the child and stop killing them.
We are living in this barbaric world, we are leaving our children in an unknown worldof guilt and fear. The values we teach at home are different from the world they are studying and working. The love we showed at home the honesty we spoke at home is not at all considered as a good quality bytheir peers.. What we consider beautiful and wonderful is considered as ugly and outdated by the world out side.
I fear this. I had given the best life to my children, the best possible human values ever we could, The Bible values, the teachings of Christ, to them. They are in different cultures and living their lives. The life they had tasted at home , the training given at home did not depart , but what aobut the next generation, the world is worse now than then. while my granddaughter is going to school I do not have that much courage to face the world ,as I used to have with my own children.
The life is not as it was, in our youthful days, the people were not so corrupt as in the days of my children, and comparing that with the grandchildren, I feel so depressed, and I dare not think of it. I wonder what type of life , future is awaiting for them in this cruel world.
Oh no , no, The truth is its worse now than then, but we have all Powerful Big God. He is not dead, He is alive. In the days when He came into the world to show us His love, He lived in the world much worse than now. When He was born, the king was terrible , and cruel one, he never cared the Holy Scriptures, on the other hand , instead of obeying the prophesies , he took revenge over the people, When he knew Jesus was born , he killed all the infants below 2 years.. what days were they? They were worse than now. There were no rules or regulations in the highest civilization of Romans, their way of punishing the people was the most cruel thing, i.e., Crucifixion. Oh it was worse then now. Slavery was the rule of the day. Poverty and sin, adultry, bribery, unjustful punishments, polygamy were the natural things of life. On one side, the angelic , prophesies and miracles were happening, in the lives of common people, but another extremity of self righteousness, and oppression were prevailing. Our Lord choose the perfect timing to come into this world, to show us that even in this horrible world , by God's grace, our children could live and brought up under the merciful wings of God , and also in the mercy of men. Because, just Because, Nothing is impossible to God. He is All mighty God, the Alpha and Omega, He knew our lives, and desires, and our cries.. God is our fortress, entrust our future generations to His loving Hands.. all would be well. FAith cries aloud , "Its possible," Let Faith reign our lives.
