I am afraid to pen down my radical reflections on Genesis First Two chapters, But I cant stop writing, I have to write, and I need to write, and I am writing here.
I read and reread the first two chapters of Genesis, many a times before, but this time it is unfolding new revelations to my mind, and what I see between the lines is the awesome design of God.. His love for humanity, His great plan which reveals His mystery in these few pages.
""God has had special Mind and Mission in creating the earth. He must had been very very lonely. He might needed someone who is much'less' than Him, to talk , to play with , to laugh and to love and to be loved. Just as we love to have a pet .
The whole universe had been obedient to Him, they use to do just like He patterned, fashioned them; so , He wanted someone who has 'Free Will', 'Self' and who has authority over his senses, life, character, body.. and still could obey Him and love Him.!!
In the beginning God.... oh what He was trying to do? Gen1:1 to Gen 2:2 depicts how God tried to finish His creation at one stretch. Just like a painter or Sculptor, writer, or potter would do with his work. They just do it and finish it . Finish it First.
All other 'extras' , or 'specialties" or special 'decorations' , 'additions' deletions' will be taken later.
So after God has created 'everything' , yes literally "everything", even men & men of every nation, race, color were "created" in His image Gen1:26 In His image" means --like , I may say, His mind-set, His skill, His senses, Like seeing hearing , touching etc with special "intelligence, 'Power--unlike other animals , or above other animals.
God created 'earth and sky" Gen 1;1 May be this is the heading or title to His story of creation from Gen1:1 to Gen 2:2
