He just left for the Heavenly Abode in a second, the stress broke his heart, just before the death of my husband my birthday falls in. That was the first time he celebrated it in happy mood. Even I was very happy because he was good in health. August 29th morning we had family prayer , my daughter left for Kanchipuram to submit a Project paper. We three read the 11th verse in 2 peter 1 chapter.And God will open wide the gates of heaven for you to enter into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."We both underlined that verse, at once and excited about it. I said, 'WOW Gates are widely opened,!! how beautifully written," He too affirmed that and with red pencil underlined it." it was at 9am. He was welcomed at 11 2o am. within a week we got a news that his father aged 75, hale and healthy died in an instant. I cried, 'Lord, even if you kill me I will not take my faith in YOU' Job 13:15 Later"All things worked together for good for them who are called by Him with a purpose; and for them who love Him" Rom 28:8 literally fulfilled in my life. For that I praise God abundantly,
My purpose of writing some of the pages from my journal , is to let you know how beautiful and safe it is to live in His will. The desire for money makes us go astray. That is the only reason for we are not able to dwell in His custody. We try to live by the standards of the world therefore we often put to shame, by the Mammon of this world.
King David said," I am in great distress. Please let me fall into the hand of the Lord, for His mercies are great; but do not let me fall into the hand of man." 2 Samuel 22:14 Can we pray that we better be in the hands of God rather than in our own desires, and traps of the Evil one? When we yield to God completely this area of Money Matters, we will see great victory in our lives. We can live a life of Faith. I am really trembling to write like this. We do not know what sort of life we have to face in future. But so far He had been faithful even when we are not, He will keep us in future. " Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into His glorious presence without a single fault." Jude 1:24
With that hope I was dare enough to depict these stories of walking with God as breath taking, beautiful and unbelievable . Do we pray this prayer, " Our Father in Heaven...Thy WILL BE DONE ON EARTH, AS IT IS IN HEAVEN" in real sense. His ways of leading and dealing us, are very deep, for those who are willing to obey Him. To human mind, to ask God about His will in our tiny little matters look like a sort of absurd thing.
Our down fall would be terrible if we are not careful while walking on small pebbles. Whereas we may be very careful about mountains, we do not go and hit the mountain and fell.
When God guides us even in small matters, it is safe for us. it is good for us. It is most beautiful thing for us. It is life learning lessons of facing big problems in our lives. It is an exercise of spiritual lessons of Soul. But why we are so reckless about this important
issue ?
Mathew 7:21 says " Not every one that saith unto me ,Lord Lord , shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth, the will of my Father which is in heaven"
Life is a puzzle, all pieces of this puzzle are in the hands of God, He knew how to solve this puzzle, when we are in the hands of Master, we just ask Him to do it, and He would take our hand into His and moves them to win. He teaches us how to play this life and gives us the victory. Why we should worry, why we should kick, why we should try to find useless solutions for every problem in our lives? Though it may be a small Refrigerator or a house to live in or Prayer House to worship Him, He can take care of everything.
In my book I tried to bring down to earth rules of money spending by a true Christian who really seek the will of God. God's word is subtly explaining us many principles of money spending in our lives. Mathew 6:21 clearly tells us that our heart is attracted to the place where we keep our money, lands? gold? property? Beware, if your heart is not in the kingdom of God you will be lost and thrown out in the floods of pomp and show very easily.
People do not mind to spend thousands of rupees in hotel but think its very difficult to buy a book and read or to spend money in the Kingdom of God.
Once our pastor spoke about a small funny story about evolution of caste system. Once a Master gave Rs, 100/ to each of his 4 workers and went to a town nearby , and told them that they were free to spend it for themselves.
So Number 1. went to the Hotel and ate to his stomach full of meat., and said to himself " My sweet life, eat, drink , sleep and enjoy today, this is the day to love your life."
Number,2 went out bought some chocolates and went to nearby school and sold them and earned Rs. 50/ profit on his investment of Rs.100.
Number 3.bought an arrow and bow went out into the nearby woods, killed a deer sold its flesh and skin and earned Rs.1000/ as his profit.
Number 4, went out into the fair, searched for a great book worth Rs,100/ and came home and studied it and gained wisdom. Therefore people started to come to him to listen to his wise words, and brought many gifts to him. which were more valuable than 1 million rupees.
People should be cautious how they spend money, the wisdom gained by the Number 4 will not be taken away from him; but the food ate by number 1 will make him a lazy person and throw him into the hard and mundane work. Caste is not by birth but by habit. Ambedhkar is praised for his wisdom and Ekalavya was praised for his skill. A fool does not know how to spend money.
Where is your money? Where you are spending it? There your heart is. And one fine day God will judge your heart. To know what to buy when to buy how to buy is from the wisdom of God. He gives it freely to any one who asks Him.
Wants and Needs. How we fulfill them,? Do we have control over them? Or they control over us? Our life our character, our personality, our very existence have its meaning by the way we deal these wants, and needs. Whole world is rotating around Wants, and Needs. People are misled, earn, borrow, invest, to have a Status in the society. People try to get Status by making Debt, or get things by instalment basis, live by fear, die by fear not knowing how to keep things they gained by various methods, plans, and tricks in life. Poor we, once in the 6 feet ditch in the bowels of the earth, not even ONE THING, Yes, ONE THING stick to us. Money makes everything crazy, our aims, our goals, our relations everything rotates around currency and makes life dizzy and busy. Ultimately what we are taking with us? Empty handed, Naked body, only into the grave where people smile inwardly looking at our dead body there. Soon they leave the body in the burial ground, rushed home to pick the things left by the body . Life is Funny.
Do the will of God all the time, His Will is in His BOOK .. !! Seek Him !!Good Bye !!
